The JRC is a peer-reviewed journal published by the graduate students of the Department of Religion at Concordia University. We welcome submissions from graduate students and faculty related to the academic study of religion and culture.

About the JRC

The Journal of Religion and Culture (JRC) is a well-respected and long-standing institution within the Religion Department at Concordia University. As a peer-reviewed publication administered by the graduate students of that department in collaboration with the faculty of both Concordia and other local area universities, the JRC is dedicated to its tradition of academic excellence and innovation within the field of religious studies.

With the 2010/2011 academic year and the publication of its 22nd volume, the JRC re-launched as a fully online publication. By transitioning from a traditional print publication to an open-source journal database format, the JRC hopes to adapt to current trends within academic publishing and offer optimal exposure to its contributors and their work.

This publication is available online thanks to the support of the Faculty of Arts and Sciences at Concordia University, Montreal, Quebec. Neither Concordia University nor its Faculty of Arts and Sciences is liable for any damages, costs, or losses whatsoever arising in any circumstances from these services.
